Little Rock artist Michelle Moore is a co-owner of a small research based statistical programming business and has been creating art since 1998. She started with a passion for clay, eventually discovering painting and printmaking giving her three interchangeable creative outlets.
Currently, she studies painting, pottery, and printmaking at the Arkansas Art Center and has consistently been one of the top ten sellers at the Museum School Sale. Her studio is located in The Pyramid Place Building where she enjoys painting and printmaking, primarily focused on the figurative.
Michelle experiments with clay, canvas, and paper, allowing the visual dynamics surrounding her world to bias her media of choice along with shape, color, and texture to capture an abstracted expressionist figure. Her work is often seen as contemplative, studious, and pensive.
She considers her artwork a success when the viewer is intrigued and develops a relationship with the art.
